Mrs. Dodson’s class is learning about inferencing this week by using what they read plus their schema (what they already know) to make inferences. Students used their thinking stems when they talk about their inferences.

They learned from the perspective of others in order to select the perfect amount of each ingredient. Houston Elementary students participated in an Adventure Dash Fun Run which is an obstacle course fun run with music, dancing, and cool, age appropriate (yet challenging) obstacles. EVERY child was be able to participate on Dash Day as we closed out a successful fundraiser! We raised just over $25,000! We will be able to pick a new piece of equipment for the west playground.
