Houston Library Services

Students may check out books for a one-week period as long as they have returned the previously checked out item.
Students may have up to two (2) books checked out at one time, if the parent letter has been signed and returned. Otherwise students may only check out one (1) book.
Books may be renewed, if needed, unless the book is on reserve.

 

           Overdue and Lost Books              

On library day if books are not brought back, students will not be able to check out any books. If you need to recheck a book please bring it back on library day to be rechecked.

 

 

Lost or damaged books will be assessed a fine. Fines vary accordingly to cost of book and damage.  Until overdue items have been returned and fees have been cleared by the librarian, patrons will lose their borrowing privileges.
