Celia Acker - Technology
My name is Celia Acker, I love being the technology teacher at Houston. My husband and I met at TCU where I received my degree in Early Childhood Education. My husband grew up in Mineral Wells and we decided to move our life back here to both teach for MWISD. We have one daughter, Meredith. We also have two cute but naughty dogs, Hank and Winston. I enjoy hiking, traveling and taking pictures. If your child has outside extra-curricular activities (cheer, football, etc.) I would love a schedule so that I can show my support inside and outside of the classroom.
I have many exciting activities planned for your child. Students will be learning to navigate Google Drive, Google Docs, Google Slides, and many other programs. Students will learn about Digital Citizenship and how to Code. I hope by the time your students leave my class that they enjoy technology as much as I do!
