Welcome to Houston Elementary, where we learn something new and exciting every day. We are enthusiastic about our 2023-2024 school year at Houston. Our theme this year is "Learning is Groovy!"

Houston Elementary is dedicated to our students and we strive every day to provide a rich learning environment, filled with engaging experiences that promote achievement for all learners. Our goal at Houston Elementary is to invest in the future of our children by ensuring our students receive our “BEST”. Receiving our “BEST” means offering the most current and researched-based teaching practices while maintaining a high level of expectations for our students and ourselves.

At Houston Elementary, you will find a warm and welcoming climate in which teachers and staff are committed to building relationships with students and their families. Creating a community of support and a teamwork approach to the education of our students is an important factor in student success, therefore, we appreciate all parental involvement as well as parent and community volunteers at our school. We would like to encourage all parents to participate in school activities with your children and become involved through volunteering time at the school or serving on the PTO.
